“Celebrate Fall!”
What better way to celebrate the beginning of Fall? Spotlight is on the vine as we feature the stars of the show - squash and pumpkin! An eye-pleasing Roasted Squash Salad will be our starter and we will follow with a hearty Pumpkin Chili and an extra special Wild Rice and Sausage Stuffed Acorn Squash. We complete our menu with Frozen Pumpkin Mousse Torte – simply di”vine”!!

“Fast Family Favorites”
With busy schedules comes the need for simple, delicious meals your family will love! Let us ease your mind beginning with a versatile Bread Pot Fondue that can serve as either a starter or entrée. Moving on, we will demo a savory Skillet Chicken Marsala and a clever and delicious Baked Chow Mein. We can’t forget dessert and that’s where our Rocky Road Bars will be a winner – your family will beg for more!

“ABC’s of Apples”
Fresh from the orchard, this mouth-watering lineup of apple recipes is sure to please! We begin with a Waldorf Salad featuring a sweet treat surprise; moving on to Savory Sliders that will tantalize your taste buds and a belly-warming Slow Cooker Apple Chicken Stew. Last but not least, we finish with a scrumptious Apple Bundle Dessert that will beckon your family to the kitchen! Did you say yum?

“Autumn Apps ‘n Sips”
As you open your home to family and friends, impress them and bless them with these delicious, creative appetizers: Squash & Red Onion Tart, Chicken Brochette with Apricot Glaze, Dueling Asparagus Stix and Sage & Bacon Meatball Skewers. A lovely White Chocolate Brie Cup a l’Orange will finish our evening together. Your guests will say “Wow!” As an added bonus, we will share ideas for festive beverages, as well as serving a surprise libation…or two.

"March in Tuscany"
Chef Todd Henderson, executive chef of Freds at Barneys NY returns to Love'n the Kitchen, and continues his series: The Tuscan Seasons. March is planting time for vineyards and farms, and you see people in the countryside making cheese. Chef Todd's dishes today feature Ricotta, Parmigiano Reggiano Risotto, Pears and Pecorino. The hands-on portion of today's class will be on making Gnocchi, with a surprise dessert to finish our tour.

"Guest Chef Event: T. Cooks of the Royal Palms"
Executive Chef, Lee Hillson of T. Cooks, and Food Network Fame is back! We continue to be honored with the presence of such an acclaimed top chef, not only in the Valley, but nationally and internationally. Chef Lee's sharp wit and culinary talent make this a night NOT to be missed! Our menu will parallel that of the freshest and finest on his Royal Palms menu for Spring.

"Pub Food and Starters"
The luck 'o the Irish is upon us, as we make some pub favorites, in our humble abode. Let's start with the best Beer Cheese Soup, complete with Popcorn garnish; next is a hearty Blarney Stone Appetizer; followed up with Steak Bites-with a kick. As we chase the rainbow to the pot of gold, we feast on Green Pizza, followed by Guinness Black and Tan Brownies-certain to please all of the Leprechauns around the table!

"Super Fast Suppers"
If preparing a delicious, nutritious meal in a snap is not your reality, then THIS is the class for you! A 5 ingredient Citrus Spinach Pasta is sure to become a favorite; slow cooker Asian Beef with Mandarin Oranges is a stress-free delight; Pesto Swordfish Skewers and Triple Berry Turnovers with dark chocolate drizzle will make you a Supper-Star in the kitchen!!

"Garden Party"
Join Suzanne Clark, the Domestic Diva, as she shows us the ultimate spring tablescape - perfect for showers, Easter, Mother's Day, or any other festive ladies event. Our 3 course lunch includes a floral centerpiece, which is actually individual salads; edible long stemmed floral sandwiches are tasty beauties. An easy, hand dipped chocolate bowl filled with cherry cream is almost as fabulous as the potted plant "place cards" that each guest receives as their luncheon favor.

"Chef Richard: Private Chef to the Stars"
Join us as we welcome back our favorite chef from Malibu! We'll start indoors with a Baby Rocket Arugula Salad with crispy Pancetta and Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette. Then outdoors to the grill as we prepare a fuss-free pizza dough, then grill the ultimate trio of homemade pizzas. Back indoors for a lemon tart with carmelized lemon slices - so refreshing! Chef Richard will bring copies of his award winning COOKBOOKS - a must for every home cook or gourmet chef alike - makes a perfect personalized gift too!

"Easter Cookie Make and Take"
Chef Elaine from Sweet Caroline Cookie Company leads us in an ultimate cookie decorating class. Phenomenal sugar cookie recipes are yours, as we learn how to create delicious works of art in the kitchen. Bunnies, Chicks, Baskets, Eggs, Crosses, and more, come to life with more beauty than you can imagine. Fondant and pixie dust are just a few ways to take your cookies from ordinary to extra-ordinary!!

"Mother-Daughter Day"
We created this special afternoon for Mothers and Daughters, Ages 9 to 99! Rolling homemade pasta, then making decadent Alfredo Sauce will start our day with comfort and joy. We're grateful that the Domestic Diva is with us to create the perfect treasure: mini pewter picture frame bracelet with crystals that can do double duty as a napkin ring. Chocolate Birdsnest Mousse completes our twice as nice dessert for two.

"Fiesta"
It's Cinco de Mayo, so let's celebrate with the best of Mexican Cuisine: 5 layer Black Bean, Spinach and Artichoke Bake; Zesty Lime Shrimp, Beef Brisket Burrito with Garlic Avocado Cream and Roasted Asparagus Salsa; The Tres Leches Cake will have you never wanting to say "Adios."

"Happy Anniversary: Updated Classics"
Join us as we commemorate the 4th Anniversary of Love'n the Kitchen! We re-created four of our popular classics: Watercress Salad with Lime Dressing; Tangy Turkey Burgers in Puff Pastry with Oven Baked Onion Rings (that you can't believe were not fried). The finale is a tribute to all of our many Creme Brules and favorite Custards, we will prepare a Buttermilk Pie that will inspire Lots of Love in your kitchen for years to come.

"Baking with MJ Bread Company"
Join Master Baker Extraordinaire, MJ, as he teaches us how to make homemade Bagels - with all the trimmings. Next, the New Yorker in all of us will be thrilled to make Bialys. If you don't know what that is, then you're in for a real treat! Pretzel lovers unite - we'll enjoy untwisting the secrets to baking this salty snack. MJ's wife, Tammie Coe, will join him for a priceless "Q & A" Session that completes this fabulous baking experience with the pros.

"Decorate a Tammie Coe Cake"
Our baking continues with the "hands on" portion of the day. We are honored to welcome back award winning Cake Master, Tammie Coe! She chose a very special creation for this exclusive class: an Alice in Wonderland Crooked Cake with Fondant Candles. Each participant will take home their amazing Tammie Coe cake. Very limited seating, thus reserve promptly.

"Off to College - or Just Wish You Were!"
Originally this class was designed for recent graduates going off to college. In reality, this class is perfect for any person in a hurry, on a tight budget, and/or with limited kitchen equipment. You will learn an Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie recipe; Crunchy Poppy Seed Chicken Salad; Creative Panini Sandwich Sampler; and a 3 ingredient Cherry Cobbler dessert certain to please any sweet tooth.

"Aloha - Host a Luau"
Our guest chef, Aloha Joe, flies in from Hawaii to show us how to prepare a Hawaiian Feast! We begin with a Puu Puu Platter featuring a popular trio of appetizers from the Islands. Ling Hi Mui is the best Tropical Salad you have ever had. Kailua Pig, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Poi and Rice are classics, yet the preparation is easier than you could imagine. Haupia with Shortbread Macadamia crust will bring the joy of Hawaii to you - right here in Arizona!!

"That's Amore"
In Italian, "amore" means love. We are extending this to YOU, as we debut our new location and kitchen-which we love! Even more...4 courses of amazing Italian food, which needless to say...we love! We begin with tangy Braised Lemon Artichokes, then a heart warming Pancetta and Sage Polenta, followed with a steamy dish of Tagliatelle, and to leave you 'feeling the love': Chocolate Espresso Mousse with Orange infused Marscarpone Cream. A special keepsake gift will complete our special evening together.

"Breakfast with the D'Atri's"
Jan and Momma are back! Internationally known, and Valley favorites, the D'Atri's again grace our kitchen with their humor, celebrity dishing, and food expertise. Our morning mini class features a 65 year old recipe for Momma's famous Sausages. Elvis used to have these shipped to him on tour! Our plate is completed with a unique twist on Ricotta Pancakes-melt in your mouth joy. Cookbooks will be available for purchase and autographing, as will Spatuloons.

"3 Course Lunch with the D'Atri's"
Our day with Jan and Momma continues with an expanded lunch class, which they call the "Three S's: Salad, Soup, and Sandwiches". They create a Salad, in which their Famous Dressing Recipe is shared. Momma's Minestrone Soup is sure to become a family favorite. We wrap up lunch with a variety of party sandwiches-perfect as we head into the Holidays. A set of Spatuloons is included in your lunch fee ($11 value).

"Fabulous Fives"
By popular demand, we have four new recipes that will shock you with their ease. Each has 5 or less ingredients: Roasted Shrimp over sautéed spinach with basil; Perogie's with Sausage; Cola Chicken (yes, like Coke-ha!) plated with funky smashed potatoes; say YUM now, for Banana Brioche Bread Pudding--- unbelievable!!

"Appetizers For the Season: Fall"
The time of year is upon us, where entertaining is comfortable and fun. We have fresh ideas that are impressively easy and delicious: Cranberry Meatballs-zesty and unique; Mini Potatoes with Bacon and Brie; Grilled Apple and Gorgonzola Bites; Beautiful Yam Crostini; and back to our seasonal favorite: Cranberry Compote topped Cookies-Wow!

We busy moms need a few more "go-to" recipes, so here are a few winners utilizing various appliances for success: Panini Press--a decadent Croissant Entrée; Wok--a high protein Beef and White Bean Stir Fry; Slow Cooker---can you believe a Lasagna?; Waffle Maker-6 minute Chocolate Chip Cookies from scratch...scrumptious.

"A Traditional Thanksgiving"
Every American needs to know how to prepare this memorable meal with all the trimmings. We will be roasting Tom Turkey, and serving him alongside such favorites as Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, and Stuffing (giblets optional), with the best Homemade Gravy ever to cross your lips! Fresh Cranberry Sauce, and an extra special Pumpkin Pie with Cinnamon Whipped Cream complete this feast.

"Thanksgiving: Simply Sensational-PM"
We all look forward to our favorite Holiday foods, but who says that we can't improve on some classics, and maybe add a bit of flair to the table too? One fresh addition is a Roasted Beet and Pomegranate Salad. The Maple Glazed Cornish Game Hens plated with Green Beans with Shallots & Crunchy topping, is a new twist. Concerning leftovers, try Turkey Croquettes vs. a sandwich. Pumpkin Pie Spectacular will start a new tradition :)

Join Executive Chef, Todd Henderson, of Freds at Barneys NY in Scottsdale, for this very interactive morning. We will learn the technique of Making Fresh Mozzarella, then pair it with locally grown tomatoes and basil. Todd will then enlighten us about various Olive Oils and Vinegars. Making Raviolis from scratch will be so fun, as we fill them with Shrimp, Lobster, and Scallops before bathing them in Sambuca Rosa Sauce. For the utmost in decadence, we savor Flourless Chocolate Cake with Forest Berry puree-ahh.

The last time that Chef Carter cooked for us, he featured recipes from Zinc Bistro. We now leave France for Mexico, as the multi-talented chef treats us to a lovely 4 course dinner. First is Almejas al vapor (a seafood and roasted corn dish); Second is Lamb Adobo; Third is a Porchetta with white bean puree and sweet garlic cream; He'll finish with a signature Pumpkin dessert with Scotch butter, Pomegranate and Cinnamon helado.
